In 1952 a bus tour company back then known as “Zinon Tours” was born.
The company owned a fleet of tourist buses with the main purpose of offering a large variety of tours all over Greece for Greek travelers and a few foreign tourists.

The main goal of the company was to focus on organizing different tours and expanding the co-operation network.
The “Hop in Sightseeing” brand name quickly became the source of Greece’s most exciting tours!

The reputation gained through the years has allowed “Hop In Sightseeing” to serve over 80.000 satisfied customers every year. We offer high quality organized excursions around Greece, tailor made private tours, island tour packages, airplane and ferry tickets to various destinations and car rental services. We are the only tour operator that organizes multilingual tours with guaranteed departures.

In order to offer our customers the best service on the market, the “Hop in Sightseeing” tour office operates with multilingual staff daily from 06:30am till 10:00pm 365 days per year.
The “Hop in Sightseeing” tour products can be booked via our website 24 hours a day, even an hour before departure, in many affiliated travel agencies around the world and at most hotels located in Athens city and its suburbs.

(d) that you have full power and authority to enter into these Terms of Service and in doing so will not violate any other agreement to which you are a party.
We grant you permission to use the site subject to the restrictions in these Terms & Conditions. In accessing or using the site, you may be exposed to content that is offensive, indecent, inaccurate, objectionable, or otherwise inappropriate.

All products, tours and services offered by “Hop in Sightseeing” are valid as per the dates displayed at www.hopin.com. “Hop in Sightseeing” is not responsible or liable for any information that it does not directly provide.
All requests for modifications/amendments must be directed to the “Hop in Sightseeing” Customer Care Team who will process the request.
“Hop in Sightseeing” does not charge a fee to amend or change the dates of an existing booking.
“Hop in Sightseeing” reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service or tour that you have booked at www.hopin.com, at any time, for any reason.
In such cases, if you are dissatisfied with the alternatives offered, you are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price.

All prices are subject to modification without previous notice.
Prices -for organized tours- quoted do not include pick up service from your hotel in Athens, entrance fees to museums and archaeological sites (as specified in itineraries) bue include taxes.
Prices -for private tours- quoted do not include entrance fees for visits of museums and archaeological sites and meals (as specified in itineraries) but include taxes.

All personal expenses (laundry, telephone, etc.) cost of drinks, mineral waters, after meal coffee and tea, tips, sightseeing and services other than those mentioned in our itineraries.
If in doubt whether something is included in the price of the tour, please inquire.

Hop in Sightseeing” accepts the all credit cards.
There is no charge or service fee for processing credit or debit card payments.
Full payment by credit or debit card is required to make a reservation. Payment will be listed as “Hop in Sightseeing”.
No refunds are available once a tour or service has commenced, or in respect of any package, accommodation, meals or any other services utilized.
Cancelling a booking with “Hop in Sightseeing” can result in cancellation fees being applied by “Hop in Sightseeing”, as outlined below.
When cancelling any booking you will be notified via email, of the total cancellation fees.
Tickets are non-refundable in all circumstances.
ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE CONFIRMED BY “Hop in Sightseeing”
• Any Tour Package that require Hotel, Ferry tickets bookings are considered Non-Refundable
• Cancellation more than 20 Days Prior to departure date of the cruise / service booked: Full refund
• Cancellation 19 – 4 Days Prior to departure date of the cruise / service booked: 50% refund
• Cancellation 0 – 3 Days Prior to departure date of the cruise / service booked: No refund

“Hop in Sightseeing” reserves the right to cancel any cruise / tour / service at any time under the condition that fares paid will be returned to passengers that have paid said fares.
In such a case, every effort will be made to assist the passenger with alternative arrangements.
The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, foreign transaction, currency exchange or other fees. Your bank or credit or debit card company may convert the payment into the local currency and charge fees, resulting in differences between the amount displayed on www.hopin.com and the final amount charged to your bank account or credit or debit card statement.
Please contact your bank or card company if you have any questions concerning any applicable conversion or fees.

a) On tours children under 4 years participate free of charge. Children 4 to 12 years pay the specific showing price on every tour / cruise.
b) On all air and sea tours and cruises, reductions adhere to the policies followed by the specific air carrier and / or cruise line used.

During our tours we make every effort to use 4*or 3* hotels, as classified by the Greek Government.
All the hotels used on our tours have private facilities.
It is understood that prices indicated for each tour are per person, sharing a double room.
There is a different price supplement for sole occupancy, if single room is available. The per person cost in a triple room is the same as in a double.

As specified in each tour. It is understood that half board means continental breakfast and one main meal daily (usually dinner) and full board means continental breakfast and both lunch and dinner.

As specified in each tour, including porter age of 2 medium sized suitcases per person.

As mentioned on the description of our tours are professional guides licensed by the Greek government. In the case of a force majeure (strikes, etc.) we reserve the right to use tour conductors instead of guides or to distribute literature describing places visited on our tours.

As specifically mentioned in each tour. In case of a force mature and/or reasons beyond our control and events that occur after the tour departure, we reserve the right to modify the routing and alter the itineraries.

Under no circumstances will “Hop in Sightseeing” be liable for any of the following losses or damage (whether such losses where foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise): (a) loss of data; (b) loss of revenue or anticipated profits; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of opportunity; (e) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (f) losses suffered by third parties; or (g) any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of www.hopin.com regardless of the form of action.
“Hop in Sightseeing” in making arrangements for hotels, tours, transportation or any service in connection with the itineraries of individual customers, shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act of default by any hotel, carrier or other company or person providing services included in the tours.
Furthermore, “Hop in Sightseeing” accepts no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government restrains, acts of war and / or terrorism, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control.
“Hop in Sightseeing”’s content – including the information, names, images, pictures, logos, prices, dates, and availability regarding or relating to “Hop in Sightseeing”, www.hopin.com is provided “AS IS” and on an “AS AVAILABLE” basis without any representations or any kind of warranty made (whether express or implied by law) to the extent permitted by law, including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.
At “Hop in Sightseeing” we check and recheck the details about all the products and services we offer for accuracy. However, “Hop in Sightseeing” does not warrant that functionality, content or information contained on www.hopin.com will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that www.hopin.com or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or bugs.
If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

Small articles, coats, wraps, umbrellas, cameras, hand bags and any other items that are carried on a motor coach / Cruise Ship are entirely under the care of the passenger who is cautioned of the risk attached to these being left in conveyances.
Every effort will be made to retrieve lost or forgotten items; however, “Hop in Sightseeing” / and its agents, in no way can be held responsible if such items are not retrieved.

“Hop in Sightseeing” acts as agent for the owners or contractors providing means of transportation or other services, and all terms and conditions under which means of transportation or other services are offered or provided, and the issuance and acceptance of such tickets shall be deemed to be consent to the further condition that “Hop in Sightseeing” and its agents (in Greece and abroad shall not be or become liable or responsible in any way in connection with such means of transportation or other services for any loss, injury or damage to or in respect of any person or property howsoever caused or arising or to be otherwise responsible for any damages for any other cause whatsoever.
Airlines and / or Cruise Ship / or Ship lines are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not aboard their aircraft or ship. The passenger’s ticket in use by the airlines or ship lines when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between airline / ship line and the purchaser of these tickets and / or passenger.

In Athens pick up service is operated from most hotels with motor coaches. Participants must advise “Hop in Sightseeing” of their desire to be picked up from their respective hotels either at the time of booking or at least 24 hours in advance of tour departure.

It is strongly recommended that participants take with them only one suitcase. All hotels in the Athens area have facilities for safe keeping extra pieces of luggage for their clients.

Our passengers are covered against injuries while on motor coaches or ship liners by the owner companies. For baggage, as well as any other form of insurance please arrange individually.

Clothing during the tour is casual.
Admission to Monasteries and Churches visited on our tours is not allowed to gentlemen wearing shorts and ladies wearing trousers, shorts, short skirts or blouses not covering the shoulders.

Passengers may extend their stay in the majority of places visited on our tours provided “Hop in Sightseeing” has been notified in advance. On motor coach tours, passengers only need to pay for their additional hotel accommodation. Extensions in connection with cruise and sea tours are subject to regulations of the shipping Companies concerned.

Any attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, user accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Site through hacking, password mining or any other means; use the Site or any Site Content to transmit any computer viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses or other items of a destructive nature (collectively, “Viruses”); use any device, software or routine that interferes with the proper working of the Site, or otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site; make excessive traffic demands; use the Site to violate the security of any computer network, crack passwords or security encryption codes; disrupt or interfere with the security of, or otherwise cause harm to, the site or site Content; remove, circumvent, disable, damage or otherwise interfere with any security- related features of the Site, features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of Site Content, or features that enforce limitations on the use of the Site.
Account Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account or ability to use the Site, in whole or in part, at our sole discretion, for any or no reason, and without notice or liability of any kind. For example, we may terminate or suspend your account or ability to use the Site if you misuse the Site. Any such termination or suspension could prevent you from accessing your account, the Site, your Content, Site Content, or any other related information.
You may terminate the Terms of Service at any time by closing your account and discontinuing your use of any and all parts of the Site. If you close your account, we may continue to display your previously published Content and are under no obligation to remove any of your Content.

By completing a booking, you agree to receive notification emails with offers and reminders which we may send you, giving you information on offers and providing you with information relevant to your reservation and destination.
