It usually takes 45 min to ready a helicopter. During peak periods (June – August) it is best to book as soon as possible.
How much does it cost to rent a helicopter?
Rental cost depends on the helicopter type, the flight time, the stay duration as well as other factors.

Where can a helicopter land?
Helicopters are considered the most flexible of aerial means of transport as they can land virtually everywhere if the area is deemed safe by the pilot and if there is consent by the owner of the space.
How fast can a helicopter fly?
The average speed is 115-130 miles/hour. However the exact speed depends on the type, the carrying weight and the weather conditions.
How many passengers can a helicopter carry?
There are helicopters that carry 5 and 8 passengers plus the pilot.
We are a group of 15 people. Can we fly all together at the same time?
Of course you can! 3 helicopters will take off accommodating 5 passengers each and flying at the same time.
How long can a helicopter fly without refuelling?
Flight duration without refuelling depends on the type and the carrying weight. Our helicopters can fly 2-3 hours without refuelling on average.
Can I make an online booking?
At the moment, we do not have online booking system.

Is a credit card required when making bookings?
We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
- A credit card is required when making bookings (must be valid at the day of the flight).
We send you an authorization form which you feel in, sign in and send it to us with a copy of a credit card holder’s ID. - In case you do not feel safe to give the credit card details then you can pay through Secure Payment Site of Piraeus Bank / Easy Pay (click here)
- Copy and paste to your web broswer’s address bar the following link: https://www.easypay.gr/hopinsightseeing.pay where your personal information such as: credit card details, address, and telephone number are encrypt and protected by the bank system.
This encryption makes doing business on the Internet secure.
How do I hold an option for my flight?
There are five ways to hold an option:
- Filling up the appropriate booking form (click here)

Options are usually at least 20 days before the date of the flight.
Immediate payment is not required. After the option date you will be provided with payment instructions in order your booking to be confirmed.
Expired options will be released automatically from our booking system.
What details do I need to confirm my flight?
There are three easy ways to book:

- Send us an email with the following necessary details: Full name, Number of persons, Flight route, Date and time of flight, Number of luggage’s and your Mobile phone number with country code.
In any case E-Voucher will be sent to your email.
How can I pay for my reservations?
We offer you the following 4 ways of payment:

After the payment your E-Voucher will be sent to your email.
Will I receive a confirmation?
When the payment will be done in one of the ways we state above then you will receive your E-Voucher by email with all flight details: Flight route, Number of persons, Pick up point and Time, Way of payment and Our contact details.
Can I have a receipt?
Our email voucher is only an exchange order of your tour. You can have a receipt upon service.
When do I receive confirmation of my booking?
Once your order has been placed, you will receive a reply within 8 hours. We do not have automated booking system. If you are not receiving a reply within 8 hours please send us your email again in order to prevent loss of email.
Can you accommodate passengers in wheelchairs?
Wheelchair facilities are available for some services.
However, passengers in a wheelchair can be accommodated on helicopters only if they can get on and off on their own.
The wheelchair must be foldable.
The pilot is not permitted to assist handicapped persons due to insurance restrictions.
Please specify in the “Your Message” box on the Order Form if anyone is handicapped and the nature of the handicap.
We will make special arrangements where possible and will advise if there are any issues.
Why haven’t I received a reply to my emails to you?
Some email Internet providers can mark general emails such as those sent from us as “spam.” Please check your spam folder for previous email replies.
If you have your spam filter set on the highest ranking, only emails from senders in your address box will go into your inbox.
Any other emails (such as replies from Internet sites you have booked on) will go into a “spam” folder. These emails can sit in this folder for up to 7 days, and then your email system will automatically delete them.
If you can’t locate our emails in your spam folder, please inform us.
Which is your cancellation policy?
ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE CONFIRMED BY “Hop in SIGHTSEEING s.a”
- No cancellation fees will be charged if written cancellation is received 20 days or more prior to departure date.
- Full cancellation fees will incur for flights cancelled 72 hours (3 days) prior to departure.
- Full cancellation fees will incur for a non show.
“Hop in SIGHTSEEING s.a” reserves the right to cancel any flight at any time under the condition that fares paid will be returned to passengers that have paid said fares.
In such a case, every effort will be made to assist the passenger with alternative arrangements.
Helicopter and weather
The relationship between the helicopter and the weather is significant. A helicopter cannot fly when there is low cloudiness and intense weather conditions such as rainstorms etc. Forecast is supplied by the most reliable satellite networks and it is provided well before the flight.
